The optincrusher is the best way to get your website visitor’s attention, without interrupting them, and to get them onto your email list. It supports all email service providers and has many configurable features. Here’s a short video to show you exactly how it works.

Hello, First of all your links to the troubleshooter and help desk are fubared – [User Error]: _mtroubleshooter_astepstroubleshootercatid1parentid0 not found (includes/functions.php:29).
So, this is the only place I could find to contact you. Question: we would like only the “Special Offer” button in th lower right corner to appear, at all times. Just like when it remembers that the user has minimized it. For us, we want this to be the initial state without ever showing the full bar. (until they click on this button of course) Looking at the code in the .js file, looks like this should be fairly easy, for someone who knows JS :).
Thanks in advance for any help.

I’ve fixed the link to the troubleshooter.

You could modify the plugin to set the cookie ‘show_hide_state’ to a value of ‘hide’. That would show the smaller bit first.

Hi ! I have an issue with the plug in on my site. The big optin/light box comes on automatically and cannot be closed.I have disabled the plug in momentarily as my readers cannot see the content at all.

Please email me!

Many thanks,
Eduard Mi

Hi Eduardo,

It sounds like you might have a conflict with your theme. Is there another theme you can use?

Mike Massie October 7, 2011 at 10:01 am

Daniel, I just mentioned you here – love the plugin!

Thanks for the great FREE optin tool. It even works much better than the one I paid $49 for… 🙂

Daniel October 7, 2011 at 10:48 am

I’m glad you like it Mike!

Daniel May 15, 2012 at 8:17 pm

Mike, thanks for the mention.

Good job on your plug in. I really like it… one tiny thing… do you think on the next upgrade you can put an option on the post/page to disable the optin. Going through all the pages and getting the ID is taking forever.

I am seeing an increase in subscribers.

Daniel May 15, 2012 at 8:16 pm

Great news about the subscribers. That’s also a good idea to add an option on the post/page edit page to disable optincrusher on that page… I’ll definitely keep that in mind for a future release.

Incredbiel plug in! Love it! I’ve been through three different opt in tools but this looks like the best.

Billie April 1, 2013 at 10:20 pm

Can you tell me why the “Subscribe Me!” button isn’t working on mine? I can hit enter, but it won’t let me click on the button. Thanks!

Daniel April 2, 2013 at 6:58 am

Billie, seems to be working now. I guess you got it fixed…

Rene April 11, 2013 at 6:26 am

Cant see the fields ‘name’ and ’email’…?

Can you help me please?

Daniel April 11, 2013 at 7:01 am

You need “display: inline;” as the style for that input. The stylesheet for your website makes the display: block by default. You can add that style directly to the input tags in the optincrusher settings.

Rene April 11, 2013 at 10:24 am

thnks for quick replay!.. Still struckling though..:-(
Meanwhile I have an other problem. When click the arrow, I get this page-url ‘URLONCLICK’.
Not suppose to do that, right?

Rene April 11, 2013 at 2:54 pm

Solved the urlonclick link by removing everything after ” *** “..div class=”attentionarrow” ****/ the optincrusher_templates.php.

Hope could help somebody with this.

Rene April 11, 2013 at 2:58 pm

Hmm.. doesnt work at all, after all.
Seems to mess the arrow-up and arrow-down function.

Rene April 11, 2013 at 3:02 pm

is the right code.
Now its working.

Daniel April 11, 2013 at 9:28 pm

That’s good news that you have it working now. Sometimes you have to dig in to the HTML/CSS a bit to get things just right.

Hugh Smith June 16, 2013 at 6:45 am

Hi Daniel, just want to say thanks for offering this software for free. I love it! My site is currently in development but having the optincrusher is a big load off and I didn’t have to spend a dime for it. Thanks so much, all the best,

Yoan June 24, 2013 at 8:39 am

I installed the plugin but it’s not working at all here – it doesn’t load on the first place. I tried signing out and playing with the settings, but still cant make it work.

Im no experienced in html/css so I guess I cant fix it in there… I see there are recent comments, so I believe the plugin is still working, so the problem must be me…

Any ideas?

Daniel June 26, 2013 at 7:12 am

The plugin still works great. It may be a conflict with another plugin or your theme. Try disabling some other items or changing themes to see if you can get it to work.

Marc March 4, 2014 at 2:07 am

Is there a way and if so how what I integrate with gravity forms

Daniel March 8, 2014 at 7:24 am

Not that I’m aware of, but we have a complete checkout survey module that allows you to craft any type of questionnaire as part of the checkout process.

Andreas January 26, 2015 at 9:33 am

Hi Daniel, it’s really extraordinary what support you give for a tool which is free of charge. I had a tiny issue with the formating of the optin box on the lightbox.

Shortly, after I asked for your support, Rashid contacted and offered me some code to implement on my wordpress. Obviously, I did something wrong and Rashid asked for access to do it himself.

What a great service! I hardly can find this for products I paid for.

So, a big thank to both of you for supporting me that much. Thank you very much!

All the best,

Rashid Rupani January 26, 2015 at 10:41 pm

Thank you so much Andreas for your kind words!
